- CCChrisNov 14, 20251.0Worst Advance Auto ever. I've been a commercial account holder for 15 years and I've been all over the United States with my account. I was told today that if I didn't have an account in that store my commercial account couldn't be pulled up nor does it link store to store. That is a bold lie that your employee is telling your commercial account holders, if he didn't know how to search an account that's all he had to say but instead he let a customer walk out the door and spend the 460 dollars at another advance auto in the same city that had no issue finding my account. These employees need to have more training or you need to put someone in the store that doesn't let customers walk out and go elsewhere! If you are a commercial account holder DO NOT shop at the Webb Ave location you will wait in extremely long lines and you won't be helped properly.

Signs of a bad car battery can range from the need for frequent jump starts, slow to start, cranks or clicks but won't start, dash lights work but the vehicle won't start, etc.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
