- KRKatie Eckert RainwaterApr 1, 20265.0I was stuck out of town on a Sunday with my VW check engine light on, they were incredibly helpful and flexible with delaying my appointment because I was having trouble with my insurance company sending a tow truck. They gave me a great recommendation for a different tow company, the local company got me there in 15 minutes and Mr. Tire had my repairs finished and my car back on the road in less than two hours. It was a phenomenally good experience and I’m grateful to everybody working at the Jefferson St. location in Boone that was able to get me back on the road so I could get home.
- MFMountaineer FanMar 30, 20261.0Purchased tires on Amazon for 2022 Lincoln Aviator. Shipped to Mr Tire Sept 2025 for installation. Was a rainy day. Mr Tire either (a) failed to remove the water from the tires prior to installation or (b) failed to purge the water from their compression tanks. No other service personnel of any kind, at any facility had touched these tires post-installation. All 4 TPS systems have now failed solely due to water saturation and subsequent electrical malfunction at a replacement cost in excess of $575 parts & labor at another vendor. No seals were broken or leaking. All four tires had in excess of 8oz of water in each tire. Mr Tire technicians are either lazy, poorly trained or just not real bright. Learn from my expensive lesson. Avoid Mr Tire in Boone, NC.
