    We had a reservation for a month for a minivan to take us to the Charlotte airport for our out of state move. We showed up early and once they opened said they were sold out. I said there are two minivans on the lot and we were then told they both needed oil changes. We asked to speak to the manager and were told he was in meeting all day in Charlotte. I asked for his card. We were told the manager emailed us and that isn’t true because there was no email from him. She said they didn’t have a phone number on the reservation and once again that isn’t true because I can see my number and email on the reservation. We were only offered a tiny car that would not have worked for our needs hence the reason we reserved a minivan. Never offered to try and find us another vehicle but instead gave us two business cards for shuttle services. I called the number on the manager’s card which just goes to the national reservation department. I even spoke to a few customer service representatives who said they’d escalate and would hear back because this isn’t the way Enterprise operates. Never heard back from anyone so this is in fact how this horrible company treats customers. We were able to find a vehicle at Hertz but it was over an hour away. We are just glad we found a SUV get us and all our luggage/pets to the airport, which is two hours away, in the morning.

    Never rent from this company! First time I rented from them last year they gave me a piece of junk with bald tires, non-working windshield washers, and engine warning light with in 20 minutes that said an oil change was needed immediately. They did give me a vehicle exchange, but I had to drive an hour each way to complete the exchange. So, I thought I would give them another chance and reserved a vehicle with them 10 days ago (5/26/26) in order to drive to my best friend’s funeral in Michigan. They called me an hour before my pickup time today and told me they had no vehicles available within a 100 mile radius. So thanks a bunch Enterprise, I will not be able to attend my best friend’s funeral!!! YOU SUCK! Worthless regards!

    I reserved a mini van on March 30th for May 18th, went in to see what vans they had on April 13th and a young dark hair guy was extremely rude and told me he didn’t want to “let me” rent a one way van because those are in demand. They sent me a confirmation email on May 11th to do a check in online and I entered all the information requested. I received a call on Saturday (today) May 16 at 11:30, telling me they don’t have a van so they cancelled my reservation. I called several times with no answer, it is now 11:45 and they put my call to an automated system and have me on hold for 10 minutes now and they close at noon and don’t reopen until Monday, then they disconnected my call. This is the ONLY rental company in Boone, so unprofessional. I could have rented a different vehicle for our Move on Monday. I wish I would have read the reviews, this appears to be a common practice at this Enterprise.
