  I had a socket wrench extension embedded in the side of my tire. No clue how it happened or how that is even possible! Fortunately, I was right near Mavis Tire and Brakes in Bolivia when I discovered it. I was close enough to see the lights on so I called them at 5.30pm to ask what time they closed and told them my situation. I dont think they believed me because I was laughing and so were they. Yhey told me they were open til 6pm and to bring it over. When I pulled into the parking lot, I was still on the phone and I saw the staff gathered in the lobby listening to my phone call and laughing. They all came out when they saw me and took pictures. They said they have seen a lot of things in tires but this was a first! One guy said perhaps a sniper shot it. After we all had a good laugh, they took my car and swapped out the tire with the spare. ( I told them I had purchased the tires from a competitor and had a lifetime warranty, so just needed to do the swap). Amil, was my service agent. He did a fantastic job! He swapped out the tire with the spare quickly and made sure the spare was ok to drive on. I asked the manager how much I owed them and he said “don’t worry about it - we all had a good laugh”. I said are you sure I cant pay you for the labor and he said “yeah, nit a problem.” I said thank you verry much and told him I was truly grateful because I would not have made it home. I can’t say enough about the staffcand the service I got from MAVIS - they were all very friendly and curteous and again, Amil did a great job! A heartft “Thank You” to the Manager, Amil and the rest of the staff for handlibg my crazy situation on such short notice and at closing time. Highly recommend them for any tire needs!

  The best. Do not hesitate to go here and receive excellent service. Both the experience with all of their staff to the actual work done. It is wonderful to have a good feeling in taking care of your car with the crew at Mavis in Bolivia on your team! And for those of you who live in Southport where A LOT of construction is ongoing, having tires repaired on more than one occasion and vehicle becomes less of a frustration. Ideally this doesn't happen at all but it does and it is extremely nice to know where to go! I will definitely continue to visit Mavis and likely buy a new set of tires here when needed.

  I had a tire that needed a valve stem. My dad took the tire off the truck and hauled it to Mavis on a Saturday to see if they could help. Not only did they help, he didnt have to wait or be charged for anything he didnt need.They immediately took the tire and hooked him up with a new valve stem and sent him on his way. A+ customer service, quick turn around, and 10/10 would recommend and do business here again.

  I brought my car in for a complimentary tire rotation and multi-point inspection. Brendan was very courteous and professional. He told me when my car would be ready and it was ready sooner than he said. This is the second time I've brought my car there and both times have been very satisfied. I highly recommend visiting this place and will be returning for service on my other vehicles.

  I can’t say enough good things about this tire shop. While visiting from out of town, I had a trailer tire issue that could have completely ruined my plans to get home today for the holiday. Instead, they showed true Christmas spirit and went above and beyond to help me out. The service was extremely fast, professional, and stress-free. They got my trailer tire fixed quickly and had me back on the road in no time. I am highly satisfied and incredibly grateful for their kindness and efficiency. If you’re looking for a shop that truly cares, this is the place. Highly recommend!
