TJ's Marina and Boatyard is a family owned and operated business. In 1982, Toby and TJ began working together in Marine construction. After building marinas, docks, and boat lifts for others, they decided to begin building the marina and boatyard they saw a need for in Belhaven, NC. Since construction began in 2017, the marina has continued to grow and will do so for the foreseeable future.

- NNnaiaNov 28, 20255.0If you are looking for a honest and DIY boatyard you will find it on TJ's Marina and Boatyard. I think is it one of the best on the whole east coast. Resonible price, very helpful people, good equipment even go up to the mast. It feels to be here as a part of a big family. We are highly recommend this boatyard and marina.
- MSMike and SarahOct 16, 20255.0Looking for a family run, DIY boatyard with friendly helpful staff, you must stop here! This was our first summer north from Florida on our sailboat. TJs was recommended by a friend who spent time here last year. Family run, DIY yards are becoming harder to find. TJs became fully operational about 5 years ago and it obvious they are doing things right bc they are moving boats in and out every week. We met several people who have been coming here since they opened. The boat yard staff and the office staff are amazing: very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They provide golf carts and courtesy cars and apartments if you don’t want to stay on your boat. If you need a place to haul out but don’t want to go any farther north, consider TJs!!

The price is good. And Belhaven is close by to walk or with a courtesy golf cart. Provisioning is done at Food Lion. So all in all a positive experience.
