  I had my tires shipped there to be put on by them during an appointment. When the appointment came no one was there, except one extremely rude woman who told me the store was closed (they close at 7pm and it was 5pm and I had an appointment) and they had no staff. It turns out the tires weren't even there- they were attempted to be delivered twice and the staff changed the address to another store without telling me. Shockingly unacceptable. Very rude staff (the one who was there), very unhelpful, essentially abandoned building, lost tires, customer service was also a nightmare as I tried to reclaim my tires. Absolutely no notice to clients about the whereabouts of the tires I purchased or where to go for service. I told my neighbor about it and he said he also knew of a time when the manager had fired all of the staff at once. The customer service person was able to confirm that was the case today. Truly absurd. Don't try calling- the phones go to a central place that isn't on site. If you're getting a service, go there in person to see what the mood is and if they have staff. Definitely don't ship anything there unless you've scoped it out well. I recommend Fender Tire Co in Weaverville instead. I just thought I'd try something closer. Nope- I'm getting my tires and going back to the affordable family business, thank you very much. They offer me coffee and kindness.

  Sent here by NC DMV. Listed as a valid state inspector. Setup appt online. Showed up 10 minutes early. On door with official tag says "Official State Inspector". Right next to it written with sharpie on paper "No state inspections". They referred me to their other branch a few miles down the road. I called them to confirm. They said they don't do state inspections either and their guy that does just left work....

  Absolutely do not recommend this Mr. Tire or really any Mr. Tire location in Asheville. I’ve had the absolute worst experience trying to get a tire fixed that’s covered under warranty from tires purchased there. Now it’s like they’re actively avoiding me trying to resolve the problem for over a week now, I’ve been driving on a tire with a nail in it and I have YET TO HEAR BACK from anyone from any location. They don’t answer their phone and they are now saying they’re short staffed so they don’t even come out into the lobby. If I ever get to get my tire replaced I will NEVER go back to their locations or any other monro owned and operated tire locations because their customer service is also extremely unhelpful.

  Update: took the tire to the MrTire located in Patton Ave WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!! Turned out that there was another hole in the tire that the first MrTire missed and exactly what I was asking to doble check and they refused. Taking it back to 1 star since not only the attitude was very rude from reception but also because reception refused to double check their work and turned out wasn't done properly. Most of the staff is friendly but the receptionist, she'll blow people off and give you rude answers. While waiting my turn a lady showed up for an oil change and the receptionist told her to go somewhere else that they didn't have time, with out offering later appointments or options. Should have taken the hint I had a tire patched by them on Thursday and by Tuesday morning I had lost 10Lbs of air, I stoped by the store and asked if it would be possible to get it looked at, I have had issues with this big tires with bead locks where tire doesn't sit properly or leaving a valve stem regulator loose can lead to a slow air leak like the one I had. I asked if they could take a look and she said with out any inspection the patch is not giving and you need a new tire, (sure definitely a possibility) I asked her if they could check if something else was going on and she kept repeating the patch didn't take and you need a new tire. With out looking at it? And any alternatives that I would offer she'd just shut it down and say if we repaired it the patch didn't take and you need a new tire. Will not be coming back. I only give it the second star because the guy that actually patched the tire was super nice.

  Needed one new tire for my truck, took an extra day to arrive which was not communicated, then when the tire arrived it was the wrong tire and the mechanics didn’t catch it until they were almost done. Spent 4+ hours here over three days and do not have a tire. Will be going elsewhere for my services.
