Dropped a car off here. Staff were extremely kind and professional.

I'm not sure what's going on with this location, or with Enterprise in Asheville but, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AND CONSIDER RENTING FROM ANY OTHER RENTAL SERVICE!
The 'manager' of this location, Jared, is rude, abrasive, abusive, hostile, and generally mean. I'm uncertain who would have hired him, or promoted him, but it speaks to the overall level of management and customer care in Asheville.
Simply put, Enterprise DOES NOT CARE about you. You are an afterthought.
Enterprise will not do anything to attempt to correct their errors, and instead employees like 'Jared' are installed to force customers into whatever pathetic disgusting vehicle they have on hand at the time.
Jared 'the manager' of this location is horrid, hostile, and abusive.
I would have provided my feedback to upper management, but today I have been
'escalated' to 'upper management' no less than 5 times, and no one has called me back!
There is no 'upper management' in Asheville.
Caveat Emptor! Buyer beware!!
Stay far away from this location and far away from 'Jared'.
The Enterprise management is welcome to contact me at any time, and if they had, I wouldn't have needed to leave a Public review! I ‘escalated’ my needs and concerns no less than 5 times today. Every time I was assured that ‘a manager would call me back soon.”
My first escalation report and request was at 8:30am this morning, and I requested a contact 6 times over the day, from both corporate and the ‘local management.’
As of this writing, 14 hours later from my initial escalation request, NO CONTACT FROM ENTERPRISE MANAGEMENT OR CUSTOMER SERVICE has occurred.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AND STAY AWAY FROM ENTERPRISE!! They do not care about customers, and hate their jobs.
Jared is a prime example of the utter failure of Enterprise in Asheville. The lack of contact from any member of management is another.
Definitely find any other location and any other rental service!

I had a very bad experience at this location. The clerk, beautiful curvaceous african american woman with alot of primping and lipstick treated me horribly. I had previous experience where my driver's license gave a false positive for fraud at Hertz after I had reserved a car and walked 3 miles to pick it up and then I had the false positive so I couldn't pick up the car. So I went to this Enterprise location to ask them to scan my license the day before I needed the rental to see if I would have the same problem. But she refused, and basically said I must have a fraudulent license, which I do not. She was not busy, there were no other customers. I was not rude to her, but she actively called me crazy. I will never rent a car from Enterprise.

My GF got a car for work for the week. I checked the tire pressure and not a single tire was correct. One tire was 27 psi when it should be 35 psi. Also the other tires were more than 5 psi off besides 1 which was very overinflated. The front tires are almost completely bald on the outside, with very little tread in the middle. Absolutely not ok. Be sure to check your tires psi and tread for safety before driving/ accepting a rental.

I travel frequently for work and have to rent cars. I've always had 50/50 experiences with Enterprise, but this recent interaction was by far the worst (and it was for personal use-- I needed a rental while my car was in the shop). We dropped my car off at the shop and the insurance company had arranged for a rental for the week at Enterprise (Tunnel Rd location). We drove there. They told us they did not have a car for us and they had called to confirm the booking but didn't hear from us. We checked our phones, no record of any calls. My husband also had the confirmation from the insurance company. They also told us they couldn't give us a car because they had already overbooked themselves for the day (what?!)! So, we called the Patton Ave location and spoke to the manager. He said he'd have a sedan ready for us by 230. We drove all the way home, then drove back out a few hours later to pick up at 2:30. When we got there, there was no manager present. The staff working were chatting and didn't even acknowledge us for about a minute. Then a woman came over and tried to look up our booking. She said nothing was in the computer. She could see that the manager had entered something, but had done it wrong (I'm not really sure what she was trying to explain), and so no car got booked for us. They said they wouldn't have anything for another 2 days. We then tried to call the third location in our area (Smokey Park) and were on hold for about ten minutes before we gave up. Two trips to and from Asheville (we live out in Marshall) and still no rental. Terribly incompetent. And why are they overbooking themselves and admitting it? Now we won't have a car for the week, which is incredibly difficult given our work schedules.
