My daughter had taken her car to get brakes put on it at this facility. She had already been to Toyota and they told her which brakes needed to be done and they called her and told her that she needed calipers brake pads and rotors and wanted her to pay them $1700 so we picked her car back up to get to Toyota. They put brakes on the front and rotors and charged her $600 (Toyota). Also not to mention when we went to pick her car up from this please they told her they could take the price down and then she told them that she had taken it to Toyota and they wanted to know what Toyota was charging. Very untrustworthy in my opinion so before you decide to go there, you may want to get an estimate somewhere else on what’s going on with your car first and how much it will be to have fixed.

We had a blowout on I 40 and put the small spare on. We got off the interstate and looked for tire shops in that area since we had another 100 miles to get home. We found Mavis Tire and they replaced the blownout tire for $235.14. We were told that the other 3 tires needed to be replaced but we decided to get home and use a place that has done tire work for us in the past. When we took it in, the technician said that the Mavis tire was the wrong size. He replaced all 4 tires and changed the oil for $543.40. I think we got taken advantage of because we weren't from the area.

Just bought 4 new tires 6 months ago when I had a problem with one that busted twice. They sold me a road hazard warranty $90 extra in case I had problems and said that it would cover issues if I busted a tire. Got an air bubble in a tire and now they say I need 4 more but the warranty only covers one. BEWARE, they are just eating your money. Over 2,000 in under a year. I I just finished paying off the last one on their credit card and now they want me to do it again. I have to now cancel my son's dentist appointment for braces. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE. It’s the next day after I had to pay over $1,000 to get tires even though it was just one and guess what. The new tire in question is flat, that they just fixed. Yes thanks late to school, work and all of life. Can has to be towed back. BEWARE…:.RUN away. Below is a pic of my fixed car brand new tire.

Shout out to Brandon, Jade, Heidi, and our mechanics who assisted us. The entire team was absolutely phenomenal. They made what could have been a very stressful situation feel calm and manageable, especially since we were visiting from out of town and unsure of the severity of the repairs. On Friday, February 13th, my husband Jay and I were driving our 2020 Chevy Traverse when we heard a scraping sound coming from underneath the vehicle. We pulled into Mavis Tire & Brakes, where the team promptly assessed the car. They found that we needed new brakes, new tires due to severely worn tread, an oil change, and discovered a damaged brake line. The brake hose had to be ordered from GM, so we returned a few days later for that repair. When we came back, we also had both the cabin and engine air filters replaced. At one point, the scraping noise returned, and the team quickly identified a shifted protective shield under the drivetrain and corrected it immediately. We have not heard the noise since. Although we are visiting from DMV and don’t live in the area, we are extremely grateful for the excellent service we received. If we did live nearby, this would absolutely be our go-to shop.

PLEASE READ. Three weeks ago I replaced all my tires on my truck, paid a pretty penny for a road trip to Texas for work. I have been slipping and sliding with these new wheels even after hitting the 500 mile mark. Almost got into a few accidents due to this and I’ve never been in an accident in my life. I am in Texas for a month and will not get back until March, this company does not want to waive the “30 day” policy and the Mavis in Texas cannot help me. Instead they rather me continue using these tires that are NOT SAFE after paying $800. This is not okay. I’m literally scared to drive with these tires and cannot afford new ones. Shame on yall, would not recommend. Go to discount tires. Very upsetting.
