    I went in for a small ding to my tailgate and rear bumper. The staff were always very friendly and communicative. They took care of coordinating things with my insurance and enterprise so that someone from the rental company picked me up at Joe’s which was very convenient. The vehicle returned clean and looking new where the damage occurred. I would recommend them for sure.

    Beware of these guys. They are a bunch of fast-talking hucksters. I made an appointment for a cash estimate after a family friend backed into my car. I was upfront that this was not an insurance claim. After taking photos, the estimator returned with a three-page printout but would not clearly walk me through the details. When I asked him to come outside and explain the estimate, he was visibly irritated. He told me they planned to pull and fill the dent on the wheel fender instead of replacing the panel. I objected and asked for a replacement estimate for the damaged fender. He then came back with a revised estimate that included replacement of the wheel fender as well as now, the entire door, even though the door had no damage beyond light surface scratching and was not part of the damage I was concerned with. When I questioned why the door replacement was included and asked that it be removed, I was told, “It looks like we’re not the shop for you.” This interaction was dismissive and not transparent. Based on this experience, I would not trust this shop to act in the customer’s best interest, particularly on cash work. Any reply from the shop should be considered just as likely to be misleading as their in-person behavior. In contrast, I immediately went to another shop (I won’t say the name, but they have multiple locations around Asheville) and was welcomed without an appointment. They came outside right away, took a couple of photos after I explained my expectations, and within minutes I had a quote in a presentation folder. They went over the estimate line by line and included other important information about what to expect with my repair. The staff were courteous and efficient. This shop was night and day different from my first experience.
