I booked my vehicle online, received a confirmed reservation, and planned my schedule around it. Then, out of nowhere, I got a phone call from Enterprise telling me they were canceling my reservation. There was no attempt to make it right. No help finding an alternative at the same price, no credit, no discount—nothing. Because of their cancellation, I was forced to rebook another vehicle last minute, and it ended up being almost $200 more expensive than my original confirmed price. I didn’t change anything. I didn’t cancel. Enterprise did—and I was the one who had to pay for it. This is completely unacceptable. If a company cancels a confirmed reservation, the customer should not be punished for it. At the very least, they should honor the original price or offer meaningful compensation. Instead, I was left paying significantly more for a problem I did not create. I will seriously reconsider using Enterprise in the future and will be warning friends and family about this experience.
