I reserved a full sized car for personal and family use to take a multi state trip. After making the reservation, I went to the local rental location to retrieve the vehicle only to find that they didn’t in fact have a full sized car, and offered me a compact car instead. I refused that, and the customer service person offered to upgrade me to a mid sized car.. I reserved a full sized car, then was given a compact car, after refusing this and firmly staying with the idea that I reserved a full sized car car, they offered to upgrade me to a midsized car and pay extra!! What, how does that make sense! I had no choice, and took the mid sized car, when I got in the car, I was flustered and drove away. The car was dirty, smelled strange and dirty, there was crumbs in it, finger prints and dirty widows. The driver side tires were low, and still they had me pay extra!! NEVER again, enterprise lost my business! I am still trying for a refund.

However, my last rental was a complete let down and waste of money. At $503/6 days, I shouldn’t have to inflate tires, scrape weeks of bugs off the windshield with an ice scraper, refill the washer fluid and jump the car twice. I understand a Mitsubishi Mirage, even new, is a cheap car, but missing hubcaps, stereo knobs and glass filth is not acceptable from a business this size. I have no hesitation in saying the lack of effort on the staff (regardless of customer service) to turn this car over properly, and charge this rate, has lost Enterprise a customer for good. Going to Dollar, $170 for a midsize SUV for 8days and a discount on my next rental. Enterprise could take notes.
