- ZNZach NicodemousFeb 18, 20262.0Sent my wife to take our vehicle in for an alignment after putting new tires on; was informed 45 minutes later that they couldn't get the rear alignment done because the rear upper control arms, bushings and tie rods were worn and needed to be replaced. They quoted just under $900 for this work. I got another mechanic to take a look today and he found that the bolts for the Upper Control Arms simply needed to be tightened which took him all of 15 minutes. He showed me that the control arms, tie rods, bushings etc are in good condition for their age and do not need replacing anytime soon. Typical attempt at a cash grab from an unsuspecting female customer. Very shady practice and considering they didn't do the alignment, not sure what I was charged $75 bucks for.....
