Decided to go to Grease Monkey to get a quick oil change and have them put in my new headlight bulb. I usually do these on my own, but decided to spoil myself and have the 'pros' do it this time. Just a little background on me: I was raised by and around mechanics, have a brother who is a certified mechanic, as well as worked in a tire and oil shop myself, and at 53 years old, have only ever had someone else change my oil or headlights 3 or 4 times, and it was because it was freezing outside and I just didn't want to be out in the weather. So my car goes into the garage before I even get inside, and the hood goes up. I sit down with a cup of coffee and a man walks in with a filthy air filter. Go ahead, change it. Comes back, car needs radiator service, brake fluid service, transmission service. I'll have to schedule those for next pay day. Another man comes in 20 minutes later. Umm, when I was checking the air pressure in your tires, the valve stem just snapped off one of them, but it's really common with these metal valve stems, so we need to replace it, so its gonna be another 10 minutes and your car will be ready to go. But don't worry, we won't charge you for it. 20 minutes later the first guy comes back and rings up my total. He asks if I have any coupons. No, I had the little magazine but I forgot it. Its alright, I'll give you the discount anyway. Thanks! Glacier Values coupon saved me $20. Oh, and we couldn't change your headlight bulb because all the screws are stripped out. Really? They weren't before. Oh, and your TPMS light is on now because we put a new valve stem on that tire but we didn't have a pressure sensor to put in it. Have a nice day. I called Les Schwab and asked about the pressure sensor, and told them what had happened. They were shocked that I had been told it was common for them to break. So now I'm on my way to Les Schwab to pay $45 for a new sensor for the tire that got the valve stem so easily busted off of, then to the hardware store to buy a stripped screw bit to remove the screws that they stripped, and new screws to replace them, and I will then change my headlight bulb myself. Needless to say, I will not be going to Grease Monkey on Tree Line Drive again. I'm not sure if they treat all women this way, or just older women, or if today was just my lucky day?

I’ve gone through these guys before and service has been decent. This time I got a standard oil change and they “cleaned” my windows. Come to find out they cross threaded the new filter on causing it to leak oil. I had to get a new filter and put it on and top off the oil that was leaked out. I had washed my car before going in for my oil change and they proceeded to “clean” my windows anyways with muddy water leaving brown streaks down both sides of my truck. I had to go back and rewash my truck. The rewashing part wasn’t a huge deal. The cross threaded oil filter wasn’t okay though. I called them up and told them about it and I didn’t even get a sorry. They basically said “okay, I’ll let the guys know”. The whole thing didn’t sit well with me. Disappointed to say the least.

Hi, I went to this Grease Monkey on Tree line Rd. My vehicle has never leaked a drop of oil. I had my oil changed and the next day there was a puddle of oil under my vehicle. I took it back to grease monkey they said it was the plug to the pan. They replaced the washer said it was fixed sent me on my way. The next day I had two leaks. I took it back and was told my oil pan seal was leaking. I stated No it was replaced a year ago so fix the leaks you created. They pulled my vehicle out and accused the mechanic who worked on my vehilce a year ago of a bad pan seal. Then they told me there was nothing they could do about the leaks and I could leave. I went to the mechanic he found the pan plug leaking and the oil filter leaking. He replaced the plug and oil filter. I am back to NO LEAKS. They took my money messed up my vehicle, and tossed me out like the trash. Don't ever go here they were rude and took absolutely ZERO responsibility. Thy bullied me. I just read with the manager stated. This review is true. They did not take responsibility and they did not accept the fact that they did not fix the leaks that they created. The manager can state whatever he wants. He does not wish me well and it's not accepting what he had to say. His ability to correct a problem was zero. I do not lie and he definitely was rude and he definitely did not want to fix the problem. It was such an easy fix and to get online and lie about what they did to me at his store is outrageous and wrong. I can't believe those men could not fix a problem they created. However, I gave him a chance to correct the problem. I don't know if it was laziness. Being busy or just plane not caring. He is a liar, and I will not be back. If I could give that man a zero on his rating, I would.
