- APAnnabelle PrattMar 21, 20261.0I had a very poor experience at Point S Tire, specifically with Gary, and I will not be returning. The only reason I chose Point S for my snow tires was because my husband recommended them, as his company uses them. Based on that, I expected a professional and trustworthy experience. That was not what I received. I was told my brake rotors were cracked and that my brake pads were at 20%, and that repairs were urgent. That turned out to be completely inaccurate. After getting a second opinion from my regular shop, I was told the rotors were only slightly warped and the brake pads were actually at 40–50%. Their quote was under $400, compared to nearly $700 from Point S. That is not a minor difference—that is a significant misrepresentation that could have cost me hundreds of dollars unnecessarily. What made the situation worse was how I was treated. When I picked up my vehicle after a snow tire exchange, Gary was dismissive, spoke over me, and directed conversation to my husband instead of me—even though I was the one handling everything. That level of disrespect is unacceptable and reflects very poorly on how customers, especially women, are treated. Between the inaccurate assessment, the inflated pricing, and the lack of respect, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs here.
