  Suddenly I had an engine light come on whilst traveling. My new car started riding like a wild bronco at a rodeo. I was freaked out because it is normally a smooth-as-butter ride. By the Grace of God, when I looked over, there was an AutoZone. I prayed it was open, being sometime after six. It was! Hallejullah. I walked in (I am sure looking disheveled in my gym clothes), and I saw two lovely gentlemen, Mr. Mike Weston & Mr. Dennis. My first thought was “they look like they know their products and procedures”. I felt safe. I don’t even remember what I said. My PTSD was trying to convince me my engine is about to blow (again) so I let him lead me outside with the tester equipment. I felt confident he was going to “make it make sense” or “it’s ok”, and he did! He explained how the machine works and what comes next. I just shut up and let him run the codes. To my surprise, it CAME BACK GUCCI! Nothing to fear. Mr. Dennis on standby to help put out any other “fires”. It was a great experience having a professional, educated, calm and collected associate walk me through what in my mind is/was a “ten thousand dollar issue”. I will return. Just to say hi or buy something in the future, and not just appear as a “Damsel in Distress”. LOL The Peace of Mind I received FOR FREE is PRICELESS!!!! You guys BOTH deserve a Raise! ~I.O

  I was charged close to $400 for parts. I was ordering in store. Their computer said it didn’t charge me, but I immediately got a notification on my phone saying that I had been charged the exact amount they were trying to charge me. I showed this to them and they said that it did not go through that I would need to swipe my card again, I told them that I would not be swiping my card because it was not a pending charge, it had been removed from my account. Even after showing proof, it eventually led to me having to call police and get a police report made. I am now out of the money that I was supposed to be using to fix my vehicle, I’m having to pay for a police report, and go through a lot of, what should be, unnecessary steps. In store, the employees were completely unprofessional, sitting on rolling carts and getting aggravated with the situation. Not acknowledging what was going on. This is completely unprofessional. They said this happens all the time and the money comes back on the card, after investigation from my card company they said that it was not a pending or false charge, that AutoZone took the money from my card and I now have to get the police report to take legal action to fight back to get my money back. I would stay away from Here. I have documented proof (police report stating from local officer the money was taken without goods/service provided) as well.

  Easy to find, just off Hwy 90; plenty of free parking in the shared lot. Large, clean store. Helpful staff. Unfortunately, they didn't have the 3M body molding tape or an equivalent in stock...
