- KHKendell HarmonSep 28, 20251.0I was traveling out of town for work when my granddaughter called with her vehicle struggling to start. I told her to stop by Auto Zone and have them run a diagnostic. She was immediately told by an employee that he would test the battery but could not change it if it was bad. He tested it, told her it was bad, walked back into the store and that was it. She sat in the parking lot until my daughter could get there (about 30 minutes), buy a battery and change it in the parking lot. Some nice customers offered to help, but help was almost there. This wasn’t the first time either I or a member of my family felt like an inconvenience at AZ. I refuse to shop or recommend them in the future. There are too many other options to try.
