- MBMichael BlakelyOct 19, 20251.0Employees don't look at inventory when a customer calls to see about a part. I had a vehicle that blew a radiator hose on Interstate 22 so I called Autozone because thats who I prefer to do business with. Guy picks up the phone gets the vehicle information. He proceeds to tell me that he has the part that I am trying to locate which was a top radiator hose. So with me needing the part right then I drove an hour to get this hose only to find out when I arrived that they in fact DID NOT have the hose when the employee was looking at was a flex hose not the radiator hose that I needed. So needle to say one was located a couple towns over so I figured done drove this far whats another 45 minutes to get a hose. I mean if the employee would've checked inventory before he acknowledges that he had the item I could've just went to Memphis and gotten it and saved 3 hours of riding for a hose that they didn't have in the first place.
