I only did this because I tow a large trailer every day and wanted to ensure the transmissions longevity. After taking 3 days to get back to me, they told me that the transmission needed to come out and they needed to install a new one for $3,500. Keep in mind; the truck shifted flawlessly and I was asking for maintenance. Shortly after, I took my truck (that only has 113,000 miles on it) to another shop. This highly trustworthy shop told me that my truck was in fantastic shape and the drivetrain easily has another 100,000 miles of life in it. The truck is driving and towing like a tank!
