Safelite worker, Matthew, called ahead of time before arrival and arrived on time, with no wait. He did an outstanding job with the new windshield and trim, along with the new wiper blades and rain repellent.

had them replace my windshield earlier this yr and ever since it has been problems. first they are expensive as hell I should have just replaced the windshield myself through a glass company and found someone to recalibrate my sensors. 2nd they screwed up recalibrating the sensors so now when the sun hits the sensor just right it sets my alarm off and makes my brakes activate and stops my car while im driving 70 miles an hr down the hwy its dangerous as hell

I had Safelite come out through my insurance to repair a small rock chip that happened the day before. The technician who showed up clearly didn’t know what he was doing — he applied too much pressure, and the tiny chip ran all the way down my windshield. He barely spoke to me for two minutes, didn’t explain the risks properly, and completely failed to mention that the area where the chip was (the black border) is known for cracking and running more easily. I have a doorbell camera showing the whole interaction, and it’s clear he didn’t warn me. Instead of taking responsibility, Safelite tried to “credit” me what the repair would have cost — as if that fixes the problem. My new windshield will cost around $300, and I shouldn’t be paying a dime for damage their technician caused. When I called the local office, the woman I spoke with told me, “Yeah, well that black area is known for running.” If that’s the case, why do you even offer repairs in that area? It sounds like a setup — cause more damage, sell more windshields. I’ve since learned I’m not the only one this has happened to lately. This company clearly prioritizes profit over honesty or customer care. I’ve sent them a formal demand letter and will take this to small claims court if they don’t make it right. I’ll also be alerting my insurance company so they stop recommending Safelite. Do yourself a favor — stay far away from this shady company. They used to be decent, but now it’s clear the only thing they’re fixing is their own bottom line.

I will start by saying there are cheaper options however, the quality of work and attention to detail are what sold me. I've had repairs on 3 of my vehicles, most recently a Toyota Corolla for a complete windshield replacement. Scheduling a timeslot was easy online and they called to confirm the services. I dropped the car off at 1:30pm and within 2 hours the whole thing was said and done. This was the first time I had to go to the shop, mainly due to the windshield calibration. I would use the location on Seaway again if my windows end up chipped or cracked again. Great quality and we're happy with the work.

A technician came out to repair a small crack in my windshield. It was minor and completely repairable before he started, but during the repair process, the crack ran all the way across my windshield. The technician admitted it happened while he was working on it and even circled the spot — yet Safelite refuses to take responsibility or offer to replace it.
Nothing was explained to me beforehand — no warning that this could happen, no discussion of risks, and no professionalism. I was left with a windshield that’s now completely ruined, and a company that’s trying to push the cost back on me or my insurance.
Their technicians clearly lack proper training and Safelite needs to take ownership for the damage they cause during service. Customers should not have to pay for mistakes made by their employees.
I will never use this company again, and I strongly caution anyone considering them to get everything in writing before they touch your vehicle.
