1st, purchased a new Suzuki outboard and happy with it (5 stars). The negative, dropped my boat off on January 9, 2026, asked to have it ready by mid-Feb. Started calling Feb. 12th, was told they were waiting on the motor and doing some transom work, should be ready soon...I asked for a follow-up call with ETA details. I ended having to call weekly, sometime 2x week, every time I was told I would get a call back in a day or two, NO CALLS BACK! FINALLY, got the boat back on March 19th. The work was good, just a total lack on follow-up / customer service. Also, took the boat back in for the required routine service after the 20 hour break-in. Was a bit shocked to be charged $200 for this when I had just spent $11K+, then add to it, they forgot to put the outboard motor trailer brace on the motor, which I found not attached and inside the boat after driving 50 miles on bumpy roads....UGH !!!

I don't usually post reviews, but feel I should to potentially help others looking to do business with CLM in D'Iberville, MS. First, I brought my boat in to have a new 225 HP Mercury motor put on my boat on 5/27/25 and was trading in my 2005 E-Tec 225 HP. Jason said he would have this done in 3-4 weeks. I picked it up on 7/3/25. When I picked it up, I asked Jason about my trade in motor, he said a guy had not come by to appraise it just yet. Fast forward to here recently. Brought my boat back to them 2 weeks before Christmas to have an interface put on for my motor/display. Jason calls me 12/19/25 and says the interface is done and that I owe $440 for the interface, which I had already paid for in advance back in July. He said it was for connectors, etc... I again asked about my trade in value of my 225 HP E-Tec motor and I could tell he had totally forgotten about it. He called me back and said that they would give me $440 for my motor and we can call it even. So, do not do a trade in, you will get screwed. Sell your motor on your own. This motor is worth $3500-$4500. I hope this helps. Very disappointed in how this whole situation went...
