- CBChristy BrackOct 27, 20251.0We took our 2015 Tundra there for a check engine light that came on shortly (a month) after getting an oil change there. My son (who is a college student in Miss) asked them to check the oil filter to make sure they had not thrown away the metal part in the center of the filter. I then called because they gave an astronomical quote for repairs that turned out to be “suggestions”. I asked the manager twice while on the phone to check the filter and double check the oil used was correct. He never responded to those requests. Obviously, they never checked it either. I declined the “suggestions” and asked them to only finish what they had started which ended up being the oil valve replacement and diagnostics for $490 which turned out to be a wrong diagnosis. I took it to my brother (who has been a mechanic for over 30 years). He removed the oil filter and sure enough the metal part had been removed and collapsed the oil filter which caused the check engine light to come on. Photo attached. Needless to say, we won’t be taking any of our vehicles to anyone else and definitely not this place.
