I really didn’t want to stop at a Pilot, but I had no choice — I wouldn’t have made it to a Love’s. I had one free shower saved, so I decided to use it. I booked the shower and was first in line. After waiting for forty minutes, I decided to check what was going on and why it was taking so long. What I saw was the usual situation at Pilot: most of the shower rooms were technically open, but all of them were dirty after previous drivers, and as usual, no one was planning to clean them. This is a nightmare. Why does this never happen at Love’s, for example?

This is my first time having a negative experience at this location. The workers gave me horrible service. I went up to the desk to ask for help with changing showers & both the manager and Angela tried telling me it’s not possible, yet I do it at every Pilot I’ve showered at & Larry has changed us to a bigger shower before since there are 2 of us. As he was outside taking a smoke break, but not actually supposed to be on break, hence the reason I even had to go to the front register to ask for help with a shower, he made some rude joke in her ear and she burst out into laughter right in my face. She looked at me guiltily and Larry proceeded to change my shower. He was complaining we had been in the shower too long and was continuously knocking on the door trying to rush us out & I overheard him asking Angela how long we had been in there & neither of them even knew so how would you know we had been too long. There were also available showers open, so there was no need to rush us. When my husband told Larry he was rude for knocking on our door like that he started spewing out rude, unprofessional comments at us which caused us to get upset & argue back with him in front of everyone. How embarrassing. He walks around & acts as if he is the owner of the facility & told us we shouldn’t shower again when he is working. We wouldn’t shower here again either way. I suggest spending your money elsewhere, whether it’s getting food, gas, showering, or washing your clothes. Don’t risk this happening to you. Side note, the shower seemed clean enough, but everything sweats. So when you get out of the shower to dry off, there is figuring water leaking from the ceiling and vents onto your head and body. They clearly never clean the vent because this chunk of wet vent dust fell onto my shoe. Gross.
