  We recently rented a vehicle from this location and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The day before pickup, I called to confirm that if we selected a 9:00am pickup time, we would be able to get in and out quickly, as we were heading out of town for an event with a firm start time. I was told that would not be an issue. However, the pickup process took approximately 45 minutes, which was well outside the 15-minute window we had planned for and created unnecessary stress as we were trying to get on the road. The condition of the vehicle was also concerning. Although it appeared to have just been washed (it was still wet), there was a sticky, dirty substance on the outside of the driver’s door. The interior was not clean — there was a very strong, unpleasant odor that required us to purchase air fresheners and even place dryer sheets under the seats just to make the drive tolerable. The ceiling lining was damaged and had multiple brown stains, the dashboard was sticky, and there was visible pet hair in the back seat. Additionally, the vehicle had less than 1/16 of a tank of gas at pickup. We contacted another location on our route to see if we could swap vehicles, but were told we had to go through the original rental location. Because we were already en route to an event with a required arrival time, returning to the original location was not an option. In addition, there was a service alert displayed on the dashboard the entire time we had the vehicle indicating that it needed to be serviced. That was concerning, especially since we were traveling out of town and wanted to feel confident that we were in a safe and properly maintained vehicle. Seeing that alert throughout our trip created unnecessary worry about the reliability of the car. When we returned the vehicle, the assistant manager was sympathetic and provided a discount on the rental, along with a promise of a discount on a future rental, which we appreciated. While we are thankful the issue was acknowledged at the end, the overall experience fell short of what we expected in both service efficiency and vehicle cleanliness.

  Everyone was helpful and friendly. I was not the easiest customer to deal with due to my situation with car seats and trying to find a car that held all of them but was also within insurance budget but they were accommodating and went out of their way to assist and make sure I was comfortable with my rental!

  Brandon was an excellent branch manager he went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. Duston was great too he took me over to drop me off to pick up my car and helped transfer my stuff from the rental to my car.

  Brandon in the Troy location is amazing! He goes above and beyond to meet your needs to get you on the road. He is very knowledgeable and accommodating. We will continue to use this location for all of our future rental needs.

  My car broke down unexpectedly & I needed car rental that same day. I went to enterprise rental in Troy MO. I was treated with kindness &.courtesy. My return date changed as repairs were completed. Returning the car was easy & again good customer service. I hadn't planned on being an Enterprise customer but I would gladly return. Maybe for a planned rental for vacation.
