- DSDavid ScornApr 17, 20261.0I came in for an estimate and asked what parts would be replaced so I could compare quotes across body shops. I was hoping to ensure I was evaluating comparable repairs. Unfortunately, the interaction was disappointing. When I asked about the parts involved, the estimator responded in a dismissive and harsh manner, stating she could not share details related to State Farm insurance work. While I understand there may be limitations, this is my vehicle that was damaged by a State Farm policyholder, so I was simply trying to make an informed decision. I then asked if an out-of-pocket estimate could be provided, and was told they would not do so because State Farm is one of their primary customers and they did not want to risk any issues. Again, I understand business considerations, but the tone of the response came across as unnecessarily rude. Customer service matters, especially when someone is dealing with vehicle damage and trying to navigate repairs. Based on this experience, I would recommend considering other body shops. I visited another shop in the area that was professional, transparent, and took the time to clearly explain the parts and work involved.
