I noticed oil starting to appear in the garage after her change and she took it back twice to get it looked at. First time they said the oil levels were fine and she was on her way. 2nd time back they said a rock damaged the oil plug gasket and she would have to take it to a shop and they couldn’t help her out because they were not at fault. I was vehicle mechanic during my service in the army so I figured I’d give it a look because there was never any issue until she had her oil changed at this location recently and the story smelled like BS. Went under the car and inspected, no signs of a rock hitting the plug at all and causing damage. Whoever put the plug back in used an impact wrench, crushed the gasket and ruined the threads to the pan smh. No way in hell a rock could do this. I wish this place would take accountability and do what’s right and fix the damages instead of making up make believe story’s to people who don’t know anything about vehicles.
