I scheduled an appointment that was clearly labeled as "safety and emissions inspection only" on a day where there was no one able to do an inspection. Instead of calling me, and letting me know that this was impossible and saving me a trip. The staff waited until I got there to let me know. I am an on call tech and had to make special work exceptions go to the appointment. Now I have to go through that again.

Do not bring your vehicle here. They are very incompetent. I purchased a vehicle from Drive time here in Saint Louis, MO. I refused to get the extended warranty drive time offers their customers after the free 30 day warranty. Somehow, Drive time managed to knock out the code for a bad converter because even the two most recent shops I took the vehicle to had no check engine light appear. Like any mechanic would tell you. For a clogged catalytic converter I should get a code. That doesn’t absolve this company from missing the error of not knowing that the information I gave them should have gave their mechanics an inkling of what the issue could be. I took my vehicle to this shop twice in my 30 day free warranty period in which I expressed several times how the vehicle was jerking & losing power when accelerating up hills. I was told several times that my vehicle was just fine. Fast forward to 45 days later the issue has now worsened forcing me to put my vehicle in the shop for a clogged catalytic converter. I took the vehicle to the Hyundai dealership (clogged converter) I took the vehicle to a transmission shop (clogged converter). This lackadaisical judgement of expertise from this shop forced me to invest in a rental car through Avis budget to Uber which over the span of two months costed me around 12,000. Not including the fact that I had to remain paying for my car note & insurance while my vehicle was in the shop. If this company would have done their due diligence I wouldn’t have had to come out of 1,300 dollars for a catalytic converter & thousand of dollars for my rental through Avis for Uber.

I had a great experience at Tire Choice. LJ helped me out a lot and really took the time to explain everything so I could understand. He was very patient and understanding, which made the whole process way less stressful. Definitely appreciate his help and would recommend asking for LJ.

This experience started off fine but went downhill very quickly and raised serious safety concerns. I purchased four new tires for a vehicle with staggered rims. Despite this being clearly communicated, the shop forced a smaller tire onto a larger rim and then attempted to return my vehicle with the rims mounted on the wrong wheels. Visually, it was obvious the tire did not fit the rim correctly. When I brought this to the manager’s attention, I was met with resistance and excuses, including being told that the rims were somehow incorrect. After nearly 30 minutes of arguing, the manager finally acknowledged that the wrong tires had been installed on the wrong wheels. Rather than apologizing, the manager became visibly irritated with me for pointing out their mistake and instructed me to return to the lobby with an attitude. What’s even more concerning is that once I finally received my vehicle back, tire pressures ranged from 35 PSI to 45 PSI, despite the manufacturer-specified pressure being 31 PSI. I had to correct this myself at home. This shows a complete lack of attention to detail and basic professionalism, especially from a business that claims to specialize in tires. Improper tire mounting and incorrect tire pressure are not minor issues — they are safety risks. Between the technical incompetence, poor customer service, and management’s unprofessional behavior, this was one of the worst automotive service experiences I’ve had. For a business that markets itself as a tire specialist, I would honestly choose Walmart over this location any day
