    I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with the Enterprise location on E Kearney Street in Springfield, MO. From the beginning, the process was mishandled. The employee who assisted me, Marie Cosmano, initially charged my card for the wrong rental, resulting in nearly $2,000 being authorized before the issue was corrected. This created unnecessary confusion and stress at pickup. During the vehicle walkthrough, I was told there was a spare tire, but this was not verified. A few days into my trip, I hit a road hazard and the tire blew. I contacted Enterprise roadside assistance and followed all instructions given to me. I was told transportation would be arranged to another location and that a replacement vehicle would be available. However, no transportation was ever secured despite multiple attempts, and I was ultimately told to find my own way and keep receipts. I paid out of pocket to travel to the Durango airport location, only to be told there were no vehicles available and to receive no meaningful assistance. I was left stranded in an unfamiliar area, forced to pay additional transportation costs and for a hotel just to have a safe place to stay. In total, I was without a rental vehicle for over 24 hours, despite having already paid for one. When I finally received a replacement vehicle, it was a downgrade from what I originally reserved. To make matters worse, communication throughout this process has been extremely poor. When attempting to follow up, I was directed to links that did not connect me to accurate or helpful customer support. I often had to repeatedly call just to reach someone who could assist me. A situation this serious should involve clear, direct, and proactive communication with the customer. While I understand that issues can happen, the lack of coordination, accountability, and communication made this experience far worse than it needed to be. Ive been renting with enterprise for the last 7 years and its safe to say this is the last time. I am currently still working through a reimbursement claim for the out-of-pocket expenses and adjustments related to this situation. I hope this review encourages improvements in both customer service and internal communication.

    Do not use this location we rented a car and made it 6 mile before it started overheating and this location would not help at all

    I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review, but be sure to sign papers AFTER you walk around the car. I made the mistake of signing before and now I’m stuck with paying for a “ding” that I still don’t see on the front passenger door according to the report. If we’re supposed to sign papers after, maybe the employees should do their job better because it feels like I was taken advantage of and they did a poor job inspecting. He checked the tires, the gas and opened the trunk. You guys can check all that on camera. Lesson learned.

    Good people. Unfortunately, they don’t tell you that they’ll charge double per gallon on gas if you don’t fill to previous levels, but won’t refund if you overfill when returning. Different from my experiences at other rental businesses regarding the refund on overfilling the tank
