I wouldn’t say that I look forward to going there per se, but I don’t dread it because it’s a nice waiting area. It’s clean there’s drinks you can go outside and sit on the bench, it’s just a nice facility and they do a great job there so I highly recommend it reasonably priced they don’t do anything that you don’t want, that I appreciate more than anything.

- SMScott MiskowskiOct 15, 20251.0Simply needed a state safety inspection. That is all I wanted. Paid the fee, and passed with what I thought was no issues, until I drove home. State safety inspection includes a check of the brakes. It passed with no problem. Unfortunately, the inspection caused a grinding noise every time I apply the brakes now. Didn't do that before the inspection, and the pads are fine. Of course I got the "We didn't cause that" answer they always give, and it can't be proven either way, and they know it. My car that I always keep up on maintenance ended up having to get almost $475 in new brakes after the state inspection, even though they passed. Of course I did not get them fixed at Jiffy Lube, as I trust them as far as I can throw them. I will not drive with brakes that sound like the pads were removed, and that grinding noise will always make it sound like the pads are worn down. I am not a fan of having to get car repairs after having it looked at. I understand the need for state inspections, but I don't understand the need for a full brake job when they pass. I don't use Jiffy Lube for oil changes, and now I will NEVER use ANY of their services again! Save yourself time and money and get your work done elsewhere!!! Paid the standard fee of $12.00, but was way overpriced because of the work I had to have after they checked it out.
