- TPTaylor Pfeiffer5 days ago1.0I was so happy when I had my windshield fixed by their mobile service by Tucker. It was so convenient and I was able to work from home while it was being completed. As a mom and military wife, I can really appreciate the convenience. Fast forward to just under three weeks my brand new windshield has a crack in it. Started at the very edge and went in about 7-8 inches well as of today is it almost clear across the windshield. I had tried doing the warranty appointment by taking it to the Lee’s Summit location. I got there, sat down and grabbed my computer to start working. I look up and I see the tech go out there to look at my windshield and after a few minutes of inspection he came to get someone else. Then they both went out there to look at it and found their way back in the waiting room to get me. I knew exactly where this was going that they were going to try to say it was a rock chip so they didn't have to replace it. Fun right?! Well I left there a pissed off customer because they were trying to say anything to not have to replace it so they did not lose the company money. Granted we just spent $700 on this new windshield from them, but that didn’t seem to matter. I would love for the company to be able to make this right but all they wanted to do was blame it on a rock chip when it is clearly a stress crack from the install, the tension on the windshield itself, or the weather. Heck it may even be all three factors. We may never know. Be sure to check out Mid Mo Auto Glass or Auto Glass Repair in Sedalia. At least they stand behind their word.
