I didn’t get his name, but an individual I assume to be the manager wouldn’t honor the Veterans Day 50% coupon stating their system didn’t recognize or scan coupons. He then offered me a $15 dollar discount, not the 15% typically extended to veterans, but a fixed dollar amount. He eventually increased it to $20 citing the type of oil my vehicle uses is the most expensive type - as if I were unaware that I drive a high end vehicle. I expressed that I’d been coming to Jiffy Lube for years with no problem using coupons. I moved to STL from Virginia 2 years ago, but almost solely used Jiffy for maintenance of other high end vehicles. He researched my vehicle in the system and found one visit in St. Louis and saw the $10 coupon id used for that visit. After he quoted $120+ after his “discount” I opted to go to a different Jiffy. This time I called first to verify that they’d honor the coupon. I do understand there is always the caveat of “participating” locations when receiving and using various coupons. This was not a good experience.

Would highly recommend the Watson jiffy lube! The team work greats with communication and are very polite and respectful and the shop is very clean! Thanks to the jiffy team!
