  They had my car for 18 hours over 2 days and were still 1 hour late getting the work done. Try somewhere else.

  BEWARE. This location will WORK ON YOUR CAR without authorization, and expect you to pay!! They started working on our vehicle 3 days before they contacted the warranty to approve the cost. There’s a lady (extremely rude and tyrant) who offered a lousy $100 discount after leaving us out of a vehicle for 6 days. They violated their agreement, and made us pay for work without a signed contract. I hope they’re aware it’s illegal to work on someone’s car without authorization. The lady is on phone record acknowledging the mistake (she said it was because they changed shifts and she “wasn’t communicated to”). Then she had nerve to threaten to call the police when I explained the situation to her coworkers. There’s also a dude with locs who chimed in with swearing. We will be contacting the Bureau of Automotive Repair, since the manager couldn’t give us a physical copy of a signed invoice. they were given ZERO verbal authorization.

  I would literally give them 0 stars if possible. They somehow remove this review repeatedly. I took my 2011 Chrysler 200 in for no heat. They charged me $600 to flush the system and change both thermostats. The car has still never had heat, and started barely running and threw a check engine code, which I read with my scanner. I don't remember the code but it was related to cooling / thermostats. I took it back. They called me a few hours later and quoted $900 to replace 4 spark plugs [about a 20 minute job] I spoke with the technician about how he diagnosed the issue. He said he pulled one spark plug. I asked about the check engine light etc. They did not check that. I did not authorize any repair and went to pick my car back up. Whereby they tried to charge me $125 to "diagnose" the issue. I had signed or agreed to nothing regarding a diagnostic charge - I brought my vehicle back to have the issue they created fixed. After about 20 minutes of arguing, they did finally let me take my car. At that point, I noticed a leak at the thermostat housings that was visible. Instead of performing the repair myself, I took it to a Midas that was recommended to me, to get an official proper diagnosis on record. They replaced the thermostat housing that Dobbs cracked, in about an hour, for $145. So, $20 dollars more than the bogus rip off "diagnosis" from Dobbs for $900 spark plugs. In the end, Dobbs actually did reimburse me for the $145 I spent to have their damage to my vehicle repaired which of course shows they know they are literal crooks. The service manager at the time was absolutely the worst type of person. I am circling back around to this, because the issue happened about 3 years ago now, my review of the situation somehow is gone every time I've ever checked, and I just changed the spark plugs in my driveway for a total of $30 and about 25 minutes of time, about 30,000 miles after they told me I needed a $900 spark plug replacement to fix the thermostat housing they damaged. The entire Dobbs chain is based off of ripping people off who don't know any better, having good name recognition, and giving single mothers with no credit 25% interest Dobbs credit cards for thousands in unnecessary repairs. I have some stories from various women I know with Dobbs that would make you sick. Avoid ANY Dobbs, but especially this Dobbs at all costs.
