  I came in for a glove box air filter. I asked the employee if he could show me how to open the glove box area so I could install the filter. He hemmed and hawed so I asked someone else but he never came out to help me. I am a 75 year old female, I do t know how to do these things!!☹️

  I can’t recommend buying a battery from AutoZone, or this location in particular. I purchased a 12V battery in Florida about a year and a half ago with a three year warranty. Due to extreme cold, the battery would no longer supply enough power to boot the computers and enter READY mode on my Prius Prime. I called multiple AutoZone locations and was directed to this one due to staffing and testing limitations elsewhere. When I arrived and explained the situation, the employees immediately dismissed the issue solely because the battery was installed in a hybrid vehicle. They refused to even look at it or test it. I was told I would need to remove the battery myself and bring it back in, despite the fact that AutoZone in Florida previously tested and replaced it without any issue. I had no tools available and was told they could not provide any, and was essentially told to take the car somewhere else, remove the battery, and return with it. I left and went to an Advance Auto Parts about a block away. After explaining the situation, they were visibly surprised by the experience I had just had. They sold me a new battery with a battery warranty, and installed it in about five minutes! This location clearly has management or policy issues. I understand that some hybrids have unique or difficult battery access, but that was not the case here. The refusal to even take a few minutes to look at the vehicle resulted in the loss of a customer and this review. The only reason this review is not one star is because another AutoZone location later processed the return and refund with no hassle. They were equally surprised at how poorly the First Capitol location handled the situation, especially given that the battery was clearly under a documented warranty. Bottom line: I would not recommend buying batteries from AutoZone. Their willingness to help appears to disappear when a warranty claim is involved, and in this case, they effectively sent me straight to a competitor.
