Instead of a straightforward answer, I was met with an angry, unprofessional tone — and I responded in kind. I don’t tolerate rude behavior. This event was surprising to me with the amount of positive reviews they have. I explained I hadn’t responded to their quote because I was in a meeting, but the situation escalated until I was told to just “come get my car.” What I didn’t realize was the car was left disassembled. I would have been fine leaving it there if it had been communicated respectfully. Instead, the conversation turned defensive, capped with the statement: “you don’t want me to raise my voice at you.” If I ever spoke to a client like that in my business, I’d expect them to push back — and I’d know I was wrong. Professional service means owning mistakes, not doubling down on them. Upon arriving at the shop, I was notified that the car in fact did not need to be reassembled.
