- DDDanirayoum4 days ago2.0Went today to get my oil changed, I was looking for a quick change on my way home. When I restarted my car, it immediately died. He asked me to restart again and it did the same. The third time, he asked me to rev the engine when I started so I did and I was able to pull out of the garage while they created my invoice. I asked them to reset my oil life, they did and I was grateful for. But only after having to restart my car again and it stalling again. My battery icon flashed and I thought it was odd since I’ve never had battery issues before this oil change. Then my check engine light and traction control light was on. I had my husband check when I got home because it was still stalling upon starting and he found that the oil cap was left off (sitting right next to it) and the air control plug was disconnected. He fixed both issues and now the engine doesn’t stall anymore, but check engine and traction light still on. What else did they do that we don’t know about? How did the tech not think to check those items when my car was stalling while the hood was still open? Now I will need to drive back to Perryville to have them check and see what else they forgot to put back together or hook it up to see why check engine is on. I recommend going somewhere trusted even it takes longer. It was easy and fast, but now I have extra work, time and travel involved to fix the issues they created.
