Safelite repaired a recent passenger-side windshield chip on our family vehicle (just under the size of a U.S. dime coin) using epoxy injection & curing. My on-line bid request was easy to submit, as was scheduling an at-home appointment for the repair (same price as shop repair). I chose to pay in full out-of-pocket vs. making an insurance claim (personal decision), and the price was very reasonable (just be thoughtful if you are leaning toward accepting extra services). Safelite kept me informed by text & E-mail re. my upcoming appointment, and sent updates on arrival time of the technician on day-of. Connor was friendly & professional, and he completed the entire repair process in approx. 25 minutes (incl. set-up & teardown of the minimal repair equipment PLUS an outer windshield cleaning to wrap up the appointment). The outer surface of the windshield chip area is smooth & level to the touch, and the repair is barely noticeable from inside & outside. I would not hesitate to recommend Safelite to other people who have similar auto glass repair needs.

Safelite employees were so easy to work with. They communicated well by explaining everything I needed to know. My windshield looks great. I’m so happy I used Safelite! They really care about doing a great job and they are very professional.

Excellent service! From the time I made an appointment to being greeted at the office to the installer/ technician was a great experience. Good company and very professional crew. Highly recommend this company especially the Westport office
Technician was running behind, showed up unprepared without rain guard, left my factory remote start antenna taped to the door pillar hanging from the wire, rushed through the job, didn't clean the window after installing, didn't vacuum the floor out. He was polite and friendly was all i can say good about him. Not sure if it was just an off day for the guy or if this is level of care most customers recieve. I paid top tier for the premium install and received sub par service and an unfinished job imo.

I had a technician come out to repair a crack in my windshield. During the repair attempt, the crack spread to nearly twice its original size. The technician was professional and upfront, and clearly stated that I would not be charged since the damage worsened during the repair. Despite that, I was still charged.
Over the past three weeks, I have called customer service three separate times. Each time, I was told that the location’s manager would reach out to resolve the issue. No one has followed up. I was told I would not be charged, yet I’ve been billed and ignored.
I expect a full refund as originally promised.
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this service. Based on my experience, they do not stand behind their commitments when issues arise.
