I took my 2014 grey Toyota Avalon here for rack & pinion replacement, tie rods, and an alignment, and the total came out to over $3,300. As soon as I picked up my car, it started showing major warning lights that were NEVER there before—traction control, ABS, cruise control, and brake lights all came on immediately. These systems should have been properly reset and calibrated as part of the service I already paid for. When I returned to the shop, instead of taking responsibility, the manager (AJ Flower) told me that my steering angle sensor had suddenly failed and tried to charge me another $872. This sensor was working perfectly before, and the problems only started after they worked on my steering and suspension. I felt very overwhelmed, and I was pressured to agree to more charges. They even documented it as if I “declined” necessary work, which is not accurate. This whole experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope upper management reviews this situation, because customers should not be asked to pay twice for issues that happen right after a repair. I completely support this review. I was there during this situation, and everything mentioned here is true. The car had no warning lights before the repair, and all these issues appeared immediately afterward. The way the shop handled it was very stressful and unprofessional, especially trying to charge extra for a problem that happened only after their work. Customers deserve honesty and accountability. I really hope management takes this seriously.

This experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope upper management reviews this, because customers should never be charged twice for issues caused by the shop itself.

I have used the Maryland Heights Dobbs for years because when there’s an emergency like today they get me in right away. I had a flat and put on the spare and called them. Brandon said come ASAP and he can take care of it today. Turns out I needed a new tire so they replaced both rear tires and I was out of there in less than 2 hours.

Went to dobbs for the first time this past week, to get a car inspection and to check on my tires they were nothing but professional. Explained everything to me and helped me walk through all of their process. Will definitely be using their services and recommending them to all.
