- ALAlyssa LucioAug 26, 20251.0So let's put this out there. I am a professional truck driver, been coming here for 3 and a half years. Most of the time my co driver & I have been treated pretty okay. Up until last week, when one of the cashiers pretended she didn't understand what he said (He's indian), She then repeated "January" in an accent and confused like she didn't know what the hell he was talking about. But her manager heard from far away what he said? Hm. Seems a bit racist. Now, I've seen this particular worker be very rude to MANY people, most of them being of a different race than her, So I can't keep quiet. As a truck stop worker, Rita. (Her name, I'm pretty sure. Older lady, thin with glasses) Who probably has been working in customer service for years, you should be more patient and take the chance to understand people's accents and needs. It's really not that difficult. We are there to give you our hard earned money. Act like it. Other than that, I loved this place and the managers. But will no longer be giving them my money. Racism is already far too much in this world. Be KIND.
