Got a new battery here two days ago, mistake was to let anyone here try to install a battery. The original guy doing it said I was good to go, only to find out the next day my car wasn't starting up anymore and I checked under the hood and saw the connection between the battery terminal and the cable was totally loose and detached so I had to manually press down on it to get my car to turn on again. Would've been nice if the guy doing it told me that the connection was loose and place a battery shim in it from the start to tighten that connection. So the next day I bring the car back in again thinking okay putting a shim around the terminal of the battery should not be too difficult. This new guy now seemed totally flustered and annoyed to be bothered with this, ended up dropping a piece of horizontal rod that holds the battery in place under the hood and said actually yea you don't need this piece and was trying to just leave it there after tasseling with it for a second trying to retrieve it and then just giving up on it. I told him no, I do need that piece back and had to retrieve it myself fairly quickly and he says he doesn't know how to reattach the piece and assures me again that I probably don't even need it. At this point I just want nothing to do with anyone there so I just take the rod piece myself and let him finish up placing and tightening the shim down to the terminal, which so far (the drive back to work) seemed to do the trick but I wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't last long. Was just trying to save myself the half hour of doing this all on my own but clearly it seems that's the best option. The first guy should've told me that the connection was loose between the terminal and cable and not let me drive off like that, and the second guy literally looked like he had no clue what he was doing with anything under the hood. Crazy
