  I’ve bought 3 vehicles now from Heartland Chevrolet. That’s my go to dealership now. Lucas expedites the paperwork process. Anytime I’ve scheduled a maintenance they get me in and have my vehicle done by the time they said. Makes the car buying experience more pleasurable than ones I’ve had in the past.

  I called this morning at 9:22 to make appt to see a truck. They checked to see if available and was told it was available no deals were made and went to get keys and we would be there at 5pm. Got a call at 2:55 pm said it was in shop for recall on engine .i called said I was still interested . Got a call at 3:55 saying they made a mistake that it has a deposit on truck after completion of engine install. Wow something stinks in Denmark! Very I professional. Don’t think I could trust this dealership. It was available no deals or deposit at 9:22 and was supposed to hold it yet sold it. We won’t be doing business there

  We’ve taken my wife’s Traverse to Heartland Chevy for service for several years now. We recently had an issue pop up that was originally identified while the vehicle was within warranty, but Heartland failed to diagnosis it and/or repair it. Fast forward to today and the vehicle is now outside of warranty and the component needs replaced. Corey, the Service Manager, went way above and beyond to make sure the repair was completed free of charge and in a timely manner. I was expecting to have to fight this, but Heartland admitted their mistake and took full responsibility. Due to the way they handled this I will be a customer for life and will gladly refer anyone I know to their dealership and service department.

  "Lifetime Powertrain Warranty is Misleading – Nothing is Free" I purchased a 2020 Chevy Equinox largely because of the dealership’s promise of a free lifetime powertrain warranty. Unfortunately, that promise turned out to be more marketing than reality. Two weeks ago, during a routine oil change, the technician provided a video clearly showing an axle seal leak — something that falls under powertrain coverage. Now, I’m being told I must pay a $150 diagnostic fee just for the dealership to determine if the issue is eligible for warranty repair. If it’s not covered (due to vague reasons like “wear and tear” or exclusions I wasn’t told about), I’m out the $150. If it is covered, there’s still a $100 deductible. So to be clear: ✔️ The issue has already been identified ✖️ I’m still required to pay for a second diagnostic ✖️ The “free” warranty costs me money either way This whole experience has been a disappointment. The warranty was a key reason I chose to buy this vehicle from this dealership — and now it feels like a bait-and-switch. Be aware: nothing about this warranty is truly “free.” If you’re considering buying from here based on that selling point, I recommend asking for the full warranty contract up front and reading the fine print carefully. An expensive lesson learned
