- BGbeiter gmailApr 19, 20261.0Where to start... after compliments to the staff that helped me with my car, my SUV with only 50K miles dies while driving it. I had no idea what happened, I had it towed to a mechanic where they found a loose oil filter. Apparently after the was oil change I had a leak after going to jiffy. The oil was clean, I had no clue there was a leak until after all this. Jiffy lube initially says they would do the right thing and fix it. But then things went side ways fast! They towed my car to a 2nd mechanic of their choice on Lucas &Hunt wayyyy out in STL city (thats not fishy at all). They told me it was going to a closer location in St.Peters but sent my car somewhere I had no clue where it was. Then they put oil back in it and had their adjuster look at it and say there was no oil leak and now Jiffy won't take responsibility. I have no car now, a 15K bill to replace the engine. On top Jiffy lube called me to tell me I should take it to a dealer and lie about what happened to see if the warranty would cover the engine. He told me not to mention any of this to see if they would pay for the engine Jiffy Broke. Now I have nothing and a million dollar company can't even afford 15K to do the right thing. So sad.

This is a great place with friendly people and terrific customer service. Thank you to the team at the Lake St. Louis location!
