Plans changed and I ended up returning the car to Kansas City at the same location where I picked it up. I did not expect or ask to get the extra money back that I paid for originally when planning to drop the car off in a different city. However, Alamo decided that I needed to pay even more money just to drop it back off where I picked it up! They already charged me more to drop it off somewhere else and then decided they needed to charge me even more again when I returned the car to the same location instead. Either way, they found every possible way to charge me more. Horrible customer service experience.

The rate was high compared to other cities where I rent but it was consistent with the other carriers in KC so not a specific criticism to Alamo. Alamo has always had clean cars and super easy to deal with everywhere I go.
