I am happy to say that I still love my vehicle 😃 I bought my first VW Tiguan out of state in 2019. When we moved here, Bommarito VW is/was the closest dealership to us and I have zero complaints on the Service side of things over these past few years. Had to purchase last month and knew I wanted another Tiguan but wasn't interested in paying jacked-up prices so we did A LOT of research online AND in-person beforehand. I settled on a 2024 with only 10,000 miles on it all due to Craig and Chris who found a gem for me DAY OF that I clearly overlooked!! A model that had only 10,000 MILES AND COST LESS THAN $30,000 was EXACTLY what I needed....SOLD!! Thank you again Craig and Chris for the seamless experience and sale😃 and can't forget Gary as the closer!

Around $800 went to gas since I had to use a truck for two weeks (no loaner vehicle was ever offered during either repair). Another $296 was wasted because I still had to pay my monthly car payment even though my vehicle was in the shop. Then there’s the $250 deductible I wasn’t told about until Hazelwood informed me - something I specifically asked about before purchase and was assured would not apply. My vehicle went to two different Volkswagen service departments in one month because both relied solely on computer diagnostics instead of actually inspecting the car. The issue? A stuck valve - an $85 part with $680 in labor. Corporate Volkswagen refuses to assist, saying it’s a dealership issue, while the dealerships insist “that’s what you signed.” My car payment jumped from around $400 to around $600 after adding the extended warranty - which turned out to be just as worthless as the promises that sold it. The sales, finance, and service departments all told me what I wanted to hear, but when things went wrong, everyone pointed fingers and refused to help. They’re always overbooked, slow to respond, dismissive, and unorganized. When I picked up my car, it wasn’t even ready - just blocked in behind another vehicle, and I was told, “It’s outside over there.” Neither Volkswagen Corporate nor the dealership owners are willing to take accountability. They falsely advertise “5-star service,” yet my experience has been anything but. Between the misleading sales tactics, lack of communication, poor service, and refusal to take responsibility, I will never recommend either the Hazelwood or St. Peters Volkswagen locations.
