  All the kiddos working there the day I came in were very respectful, and were trained well in customer service! I appreciate that! Thanks y'all. 🚨🚨🚨 UPDATE Unfortunately a week or so later my jeep started leaking oil all over my drive. The oil filter that was used was bad. It was bolted on tightly but the filter just gave out.

  This Jiffy Lube rounded out my oil drain plug on my 2020 Subaru Crosstrek. The manager gave me highlighted paperwork which he ensured me meant that the damaged plug was under recall by Subaru. I took my Crosstrek to Subaru today to have the "recalled" oil drain plug replaced. It turned out that the oil drain plug was NOT under recall, but it was a Service Notification not to use the same torque on the old part (that I had) which a service technician would use on the updated part (which I did not have). In short, this Jiffy Lube destroyed my oil drain plug because the workers did not pay attention to what part was actually there, gave me inaccurate information regarding a non-existent recall, cost me 2 hours of my time at my local Subaru dealership...where the damaged plug had to be tapped out, the drain re-threaded, my oil changed AGAIN, and the new plug installed. I don't know whether the Jiffy Lube manager deliberately mislead me or he just saw a recommended posted replacement part and went all highlighter and recall happy, but I had a part on my car destroyed by this Jiffy Lube. This Jiffy Lube's negligence and obliviousness as to what oil drain plug was actually installed on my car and their ineptitude of the torque needed to handle *my* oil drain plug destroyed a part on my car and cost me hours of my time at the Subaru dealership to get it fixed. I guess I am most upset at the misinformation I was given. The manager of this Jiffy Lube seems like a nice guy. I think he needs to pay more attention to ACTUAL recalls & what is just a Service Notification when he tells customers that Jiffy Lube's mistake is really a recall issue. I will not hold Jiffy Lube responsible for my expenses to remedy their mistake. I just hope this will be a teachable instance for their management to *read* the printout given to customers before getting all highlighter-happy & assuring them that the part destroyed is under a recall by the manufacturer. When Subaru was done fixing Jiffy Lube's mistake, they quoted me $40 dollars under what Jiffy Lube charged me for future oil changes. -
