  I took my car to Dobbs on Lindbergh back in October 2024, had a transfer case and motor mount replace, after them having my car for 2 weeks. Picked up the car on Oct. 20th. Now I couldn't drive my car for a while due to me having a broken wrist. I finally starting driving my car on a daily basis on Dec 15th. Around the beginning of January notice my car leaking something. Take car back to Dobbs, the stated I had a transmission pan gasket leak. Wanted to charge over 700.00 to repair. They stated the leak had nothing to do with the work they did previously. This is what another car repair place told me. (A transmission pan leak after a transfer case/mount repair often means the new or existing gasket wasn't sealed right due to improper cleaning, warped surfaces, or over-tightened.) Want ever be going back there. I heard bad stories about them, but gave them a chance. Learned my lesson.

  Dobbs took so good of care for us. My family was heading home from out of town when we broke down and took us in at the drop of a hat to help us. Even let our dogs stay inside from the cold. Excellent service. Thanks so much!

  What I don't like about Dobbs is that they tell you when you need struts or shocks for your vehicle that after so many miles your vehicle you have to replace your struts and shocks I took mines in and I know good and well then my car is sitting like it's an asymmetrical high on one side low on the other side the protecting cover boot on it was has has fallen off so debris water and everything else it was designed to keep water and debris out but yet they can't tell me at the end of the day that oh it's not covered under warranty because miles don't matter but when it comes down to we're going to charge $208 just to look at it when you know you got them done there and when you ask about the miles they stutter and look dumbfounded in the face like well even though you're supposed to get your miles done I mean your your shock's done after so many miles it's not covered under warranty but yet there you haven't said anything in the warranty that Miles don't matter but when you bring it in there and they say well after 50,000 miles you supposed to replace your shocks and struts and I know I got way over 50,000 miles and I still own the vehicle they didn't want to honor their warranty so I will never send anybody to Dobbs again

  I came to this Dobbs location a few weeks ago due an object being in my tire. The guy at the desk (I can’t remember his name) was very friendly. I told him I had an object in my tire and wanted to get it plugged. He asked if I was going to wait and took my information. After a short wait he came to the waiting area and informed me my car was ready. He said the object had not punctured the tire but was just embedded in the tread (he also showed me the object). I asked what the charge was he said nothing because they didn’t do anything. I said, Praise God, we exchanged pleasantries and I left. I thank Dobbs for being professional and honest, as I had gone to one of their competitors, (where I purchased the tires) F*******e located in Olivette, Mo., the guy took one look at the tire and told me they couldn’t plug it, it was too close to the sidewall. I needed a new tire! Had me at the counter quoting me prices of $200+ for a new tire. Thank you again Dobbs for your professionalism and honesty!
