    I had an extremely frustrating and stressful experience with Car-X and would not recommend them. I brought my car in because I was having issues with the gear shift. After looking at it and holding my car for a day and a half, they told me they tried replacing the brake switch but said it didn’t fix the problem. Despite this, they still gave me the okay to drive the car off the lot, even though the issue was unresolved. Shortly after, 10 minutes later my car stopped driving/accelerating in the middle of traffic, ultimately resulting in it being towed far from where I was, costing me hundreds of dollars in tow and holding fees. This situation could have been avoided if I had been clearly warned not to drive the vehicle or if the seriousness of the issue had been communicated properly. What makes this even more frustrating is that I took my car to a different auto shop the very next week, and they were able to properly diagnose and fix the issue within just a few hours. This showed me that the problem was identifiable and repairable, which makes Car-X’s handling of the situation even more disappointing. There was a clear lack of accountability and communication throughout this experience. If a car is not safe to drive, a customer should be explicitly told that and not sent on their way. This whole situation caused unnecessary stress, financial loss, and missed work. I expected better professionalism from a business that works on vehicle safety. I will not be returning.

    There are two guys who work at this location by the name of Bryan/Ryan. One is amazing and the other one is the absolute worst. I don’t know how he keeps his job because he is not even mediocre, he’s just crap. Every experience I have here with him is terrible. I am giving 2 stars as a gift because last time the Ryan who actually knows what he’s doing saved the day and helped me get the work done that I needed done. Today there was no decent employee around to save the day and it was a nightmare. I specifically went to Car-x to use snap for 2 new tires. I knew I would be approved for snap and it’s Christmas time so I didn’t want to be spending a ton of money on car repairs. If I would have known I wouldn’t be allowed to use snap, I absolutely would have chosen a location with better pricing on tires. The cost for 2 tires was over $300 which is outrageous for my little ford fiesta. It took over 4 hours because they needed to be ordered which again, would have been fine if I would have been able to use snap! These are the compromises I was willing to make to be able to save money TODAY to finish Xmas shopping for my kids!! Crappy Ryan sends me the snap link, it’s approved, he says we’re good to go. I go inside to pick up the car after my 4 hours of waiting and he can’t get the snap to work. I ask him if he needs my app number, the amount approved or what to get this completed and he just fumbles around uselessly for 10-15 mins THEN he finally decides to try and call snap but he puts the phone ON SPEAKER so the whole freaking store can hear EVERYTHING. I finally give up because I don’t want him sharing my freaking financial info with everyone in the damn store, I tell him to hang up and I’ll just pay with my kids Christmas money. I wish I would have told him to take his stupid tires back and just went to another place with a more reasonable price but I was completely caught off guard by his insane disrespect for my financial privacy. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to this location again. They screwed me over today at the worst time of year and didn’t even have the decency to do it privately. EDIT TO ADD: based on the company’s response I am here to clarify. Ryan did NOTHING to resolve the SNAP issues except attempt to call ON SPEAKERPHONE. That phone could have been picked up and put to his ear. Period. Secondly, nothing about my financing was denied, even by Ryan’s on admission there was nothing wrong on my end at all. It was him and YOUR computer. I even called snap after the fact and they confirmed the issue was YOU (carx) not me.

    This shop performed work on my SUV, their prices were great and their work ethics were phenomenal. Brison, the technician was very personable and so professional. He explained everything in great detail as to what was wrong with my vehicle. I will continue to use this company for my future needs. I think Brison is a great asset to this company and I hope the company recognizes that as well.

    Had engine repair to catalytic converter. Break fix service was quick and resolution completed successfully. Diagnostic took day longer than promised. Communication on progress can be improved upon...i had to call them for diagnostic findings. Cost was very fair. Servicemen were friendly.
