  Great people: friendly, efficient, and “angels in disguise for me this unfortunate day”. I left my house when my tire alarm went off low pressure <28#… so I pulled over in the subdivision to check the tire pressure… 28#. I was on my way to the MD for a postop cataract appointment. So I went straight to Dobbs down the street. They were busy, said they would get me in ASAP. Next thing I knew they came & got my car; I thought to put the spare tire on; instead I found out later they repaired the tire with a plug. I somehow had run over an Allen wrench when I backed into the driveway from parking on the street to leave! Thank you Dobbs for the great save… sorry no photos.. such an extreme twist on a simple day 24 hours after surgery! Kudos! [Tires purchased from a Dobbs dealer with road hazard warranty so no cost for service]

  Went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. Tires weren't rotated so I will be back next week. I know they weren't rotated because the right front tire had the most wear and the back right tire had the least since it was replaced not long ago. They are where they where before. So, was an alignment actually done and was the oil changed?

  I went in to get my emissions and safety done there. I waited for it to be completed. I was in and out quickly. While there I was able to hear them talk to other customers regarding issues with their cars. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Great Dobbs Location.

  All of the people at the Creve Coeur Dobbs are great. The service manager, Don, has been absolutely great though. He has been super helpful and answered all my questions to the best of his ability, I would recommend him to anyone, anytime.

  I have never left a negative review, but this experience was disappointing enough that I feel it’s important to share. I was charged $2,400 to replace spark plugs and fuel injectors—spark plugs that Dobbs had replaced just a few months prior. Given how recently that work was done, I felt concerned that there may have been a misdiagnosis or that the root cause was not fully identified in the prior repairs I paid $500 for a few months ago. Before moving forward, I obtained quotes from other shops that were significantly lower. However, due to the towing situation and knowing I would still be charged a diagnostic fee if I took the car elsewhere, I felt limited in my options and proceeded here. Customer service throughout the process was particularly frustrating. When I called to ask about a pickup time, the employee did not ask for my name or vehicle, stated they do not provide timelines and that all vehicles would be done by the end of the night, and then hung up. My vehicle was not completed that night. When we asked if the diagnostic fee could be waived—given that the same presenting issue had been addressed just months ago—the request was denied without any consideration. Additionally, I later noticed on the receipt that I was charged for a high-mileage oil change that was never discussed or authorized— I did not need an oil change at that time based on either mileage or timing. When my fiancé politely asked about a different line item, the response he received from Don was dismissive: “the total is $2400,” with no real explanation. Overall, the experience felt dismissive and transactional. I did not feel respected as a customer, and I left questioning both the quality of the work and the transparency of the charges. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location.
