- MCMM ChumbowMar 21, 20261.0I went to Jiffy Lube on North Providence Rd. in Columbia, MO for a routine oil change on March 18th, and the experience quickly went downhill. I was initially told there would be a 30–35 minute wait. An employee suggested I get gas nearby and assured me I would keep my place in line. When I returned a few minutes later, I was told I had to wait again because they only serve first come, first served. The manager handled this poorly and repeatedly blamed the employee in front of me, which was unprofessional. After my service, I noticed small issues like not receiving a service sticker until I asked. However, the bigger problem came when I discovered my glove box had been removed and left hanging. I returned immediately, and the manager again blamed the same employee. While attempting to fix it, he broke a piece of my glove box. After some back and forth, he admitted the damage and suggested I pay out of pocket for a replacement and seek reimbursement, which I declined. We agreed on a temporary fix (gluing the broken piece) while they consulted their district manager for a permanent solution. I returned the next day, and although one employee was consistently apologetic, the manager continued deflecting blame. The temporary fix was done, and I was told I would hear back by Friday. It is now March 21st, and I have received no follow-up, only automated emails asking for a review. This experience reflects poor communication, lack of accountability, and unprofessional management. I would not recommend this location.
