I had made reservations beforehand , and both times when I’ve arrived to get my rental, I was told that there are no cars available. “Sometimes the inventory doesn’t update in the system right away.” That is the explanation I received both times. This place is very unprofessional, and offer no solutions for their error.

They are amazing people awesome smart always have good running cars, always helpful knowledgeable and their cars are normally like 98% of the time clean if you have a problem with the car, they’ll help you.
- AHAndrea HoefelmanOct 14, 20251.0This branch as well as the Jefferson City branches are less than professional. I was recently in an accident and was due for a rental car last week. When I arrived to the Columbia location, I was informed by the branch manager that she called and left me a voicemail stating they did not have a car for me. I never received a phone call or a voicemail. After I was called a liar, I asked for proof that they in fact did try and contact me there was in fact no proof. The manager was rude and unprofessional. When reacting to how I was being treated as a customer, I was told “ do you think this makes me want to rent you a car?” as if she were talking to a toddler . The Jefferson City location then refused to rent me a car or hear my side. While I should not have yelled and said some not so kind words to the lady working I think it’s extremely unprofessional and a horrible business to allow your manger to speak to customers in a disrespectful manner as well as openly calling them a liar in front of the public due to their negligence and incompetence when doing their jobs. I have already contacted the Better Business Bureau and will also be contacting the area manager(s) as well. So please save your time and find another rental company especially if you are needing a rental due to insurance purposes! Hertz in Columbia was amazing and I could not be more happy with how amazing they were about getting me into a rental car!
