That was untrue, as I had it off the entire time and was on my speakerphone. When I challenged the implication by saying how I wasn’t on Bluetooth and asking why it discharged so quickly, the response was he wasn’t trying to upsell me — which I never suggested or stated — and mansplaining to me how batteries worked. He appeared to be seeking to avoid being questioned on whether something could have gone wrong during the visit to cause the problem. My husband, who listened to the exchange on speakerphone, sought to diffuse the situation by suggesting we contact a battery center to buy a battery. The man then Tried to stare me down when I told him that’s what we planned to do. It was awkward, somewhat menacing and uncalled for. They then sent a female staff member to interact with me for the rest of the visit, and no one acknowledged me or my departure from my car to get into the tow truck, not even to suggest safety in the Bay Area. I later had the battery changed successfully elsewhere. I won’t be back and find it interesting how many negative reviews came from women with similar interactions.
