    I am leaving a five star review in hopes to give great feedback to the only employee that was there in the front on Saturday, Dec 27th 2025 a little before noon at the Cape Girardeau MO business. I knew it was going to be a long wait as I walk into the business with every chair filled and a couple people standing. Throughout the time I was there, the employee was both patient and efficient. He was friendly despite the constant growing line of people and kept up friendly conversation as he got customers into vehicles. I'm sure him and the detailer were overwhelmed and if I could guess probably at no fault of their own- they did not show it. While I may of had a little bit of a wait time, the experience was still a good one. I hope this review is seen and they hear about my thanks and recieve recognition! Will definitely rent from here again. Happy Holidays!

    Took 25 minutes to answer the phone this past Sunday when I called. Was about to just drive over to get a simple question answered, would've been faster. They've raised the hold on your debit card from $200 to $300 now. They don't take OnePay which is incredibly inconvenient, old school bank cards only. Mustn't keep up with the times! They also demanded my freaking utility bill which I of course didn't have, cause why on earth would I?? Even though the address on my license and insurance all matched up. Major freaking hassle, wasted 45 minutes there. Will use Ochs next time!!

    I am leaving this review due to a serious safety concern that Enterprise of Cape Girardeau failed to address appropriately. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Enterprise in Cape Girardeau and feel compelled to warn others. I was rented a Hyundai Santa Fe in which the horn does not work. A functioning horn is a basic safety requirement and is mandated for vehicle inspections in virtually every state. Driving a vehicle without one puts the driver and others at risk. I have to seriously question whether it is even legal to rent out a vehicle in this condition, yet Enterprise showed little concern for the issue. Because of this safety problem, I attempted to switch out the vehicle. This is where the experience became frustrating and unprofessional. I have an active contract for an SUV while my work vehicle is being repaired, yet I was repeatedly offered a standard car instead despite the fact that my contract clearly specifies an SUV. It felt as though the terms of my agreement were being treated as optional. I spent an entire day calling three different Enterprise locations trying to resolve this issue, and none were willing or able to help. It became clear that switching an existing rental, rather than renting a new one, was not a priority. The impression left was that because this situation did not generate additional revenue, it simply wasn’t worth the effort for them. They clearly had lots of SUVs in their lot to rent out! To add to the frustration, I was told the previous day (by Cape Girardeau Enterprise) to come in at 7:30 AM, that my name was written down, and that I would be able to get a replacement vehicle. I was even told I could receive a Jeep Wrangler. I drove through rush-hour traffic this morning to arrive right at 7:30, only to be turned away and told to come back Friday and that they would “get me something.” This experience demonstrates a concerning lack of professionalism, accountability, and regard for customer safety. Renting out a potentially unsafe vehicle, ignoring contractual obligations, and wasting a customer’s time is unacceptable. I expected far better from Enterprise.
